Danielle Russo  Per­cus­sion Instructor

 

Danielle grad­u­ated from the Uni­ver­sity of Mass­a­chu­setts Amherst with a Bachelor’s Degree in Per­cus­sion Per­for­mance and Music Edu­ca­tion. While at UMass, Danielle pre­sented two solo recitals and per­formed in numer­ous ensem­bles, study­ing a vari­ety of musi­cal gen­res and styles. She was also mem­ber of the ten-time world-champion Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps. Danielle is a Mass­a­chu­setts Cer­ti­fied Music Edu­ca­tor, a pro­fes­sional per­cus­sion­ist and arranger and is cur­rently the cap­tion head of the Agawam HS March­ing Band Per­cus­sion Sec­tion, Instruc­tor of the March­ing Band and Win­ter Per­cus­sion Ensem­ble at Shep­herd Hill Regional High School, and the music teacher at Chan­dler Ele­men­tary Com­mu­nity School in Worces­ter, MA.
